The Winnipeg Foundation connects donors from all walks of life with local charitable organizations that help our city flourish, for all. The Foundation is an endowment-based organization which means gifts received are pooled and invested. The income generated provides a stable source of support for our community For Good. Forever.

The Foundation makes grants to charitable organizations in the areas of: Community Projects, Camp and Summer Programs, Intergenerational Literacy Programs, Nourishing Potential, Organizational Development & Professional Development. In 2017, it distributed $38.1 million to the community, including $9.2 million in community grants.

Established in 1921, The Winnipeg Foundation is Canada’s first community foundation. Today, it is a leader in what has become an international philanthropic movement.

We extend our gratitude and thanks for the Grant to be used for our Cadet Camp scheduled for May 31, 2019 to June 02, 2019.

Every year, without fail, the friendly organizers of the Mid-Canada Boat Show have opened up their doors and hearts to our cadets.  The Mid-Canada Boat Show is one of the two venues where the cadets assist their Corp by collecting monetary donations to help cover the costs of their uniforms, band equipment, learning materials, sailing, Camp and extracurricular activities.  We thank the MID-Canada Boat Show for having us back every year and allowing our Corp cadets help support their programme.  Special thanks to Mr. Dave Ammy (Show Manager)
